Binghamton has announced plans to plant over 100 trees throughout the city. As part of the initiative, interested residents can apply to have trees planted in the utility strip in front of their property by submitting a street tree application. With only 100 trees being planted, applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and only properties with adequate space will be considered.
