Binghamton Police arrested a father and son on charges of robbery in the first degree. According to the Binghamton Police Department, they were called to the Laurel Mart at 161 Laurel Avenue early Monday evening, whereupon they were told by an employee of the store that the store was robbed by two black males, one of whom had a handgun. According to the employee, the two made off with cash, rolled coins, and a wallet. Police later tracked down two individuals matching the descriptions of the suspects in the area of Gerard Avenue and Oak Street. Police arrested Rashawn Williams and his 16-year-old son Krystopher. All items reported stolen have been recovered. Both Rashawn and Krystopher were arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail.
