He was arrested following a brief struggle, resulting in charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. He was sent to the Broome County Jail. The passenger in the car, 24-year-old Amber Halko of Oxford, is also facing charges for the drugs. She was ticketed and released.
