Police in Binghamton investigated a reported break-in and shooting on Downs Avenue in the city early yesterday morning. Around 2 AM, Binghamton Police received a call of shots fired. After speaking with the residents, they learned that a suspect had forcibly entered the home and fired a gun. No one was injured during the incident. Officers remained on the scene until about 6 o’clock Tuesday morning. Police are still investigating the incident and are looking for the suspect.
