Binghamton police are investigating the robbery of a Courtesy Cab driver on Wednesday in the area of Otsinengo and Hall streets. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, 6 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build and short curly hair; he was wearing a plaid button-up blue colored shirt and jeans. The driver picked up the suspect on Perry Street. When the driver stopped, the suspect threatened the driver with a knife and demanded money. The driver complied and was told to get out of the cab. The suspect drove off. The cab was found on Cedar Street Thursday morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Binghamton PD at 772-7080.
