Binghamton Police have turned to the public for help in solving two robberies that they believe are related. The first robbery is said to have taken place just before 10:30 on the night of March 11 at Court Street Fuel Stop at 210 Court Street in Binghamton. The suspect was described as a white male with dark clothing, a tan ski mask, and he displayed what appeared to be a handgun before making off with an unknown amount of cash. A second robbery is said to have occurred Friday night at Smokers Choice at 42 Pennsylvania Avenue in the city. The suspect matched a similar description. The Binghamton Police have now released video and audio clips on their Facebook page in hopes someone will recognize the suspect. Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to contact the detective bureau at 772-7080.
