Binghamton Shooting Suspect In Custody After Standoff

The suspect in a shooting is now in custody after a brief standoff with Binghamton police.
Several officers and a SWAT team converged on a home on Roberts Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday where a man had reportedly been shot. The victim had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital to be treated. Binghamton’s police chief says the suspect was eventually taken into custody. They are still investigating the crime, but say the two people apparently had issues with one another which led to the shooting.
