Binghamton University officials have a number of growth plans in development for the campus, including a possible pharmacy school. BU officials presented their future plans Tuesday morning following an address from President Harvey Stenger. Stenger said his priorities include positioning the university for maximum economic impact and kicking off the university’s “Road Map,” a strategic planning process. Among the goals in that process are increasing student enrollment and developing initiatives to challenge students outside the classroom. The university also plans to move forward with capital projects such as the Center of Excellence currently in construction adjacent to the campus.
