The Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have arrested a Binghamton woman for unauthorized use of a debit card. 24-year-old Brittney Hutchinson allegedly used a debit card she found to make several purchases at multiple locations in excess of $300. Hutchinson was taken into custody on Tuesday, and was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and forgery, both felonies. She was arraigned in the City of Binghamton Court and released pending further court action. The sheriff’s says that tips left on their Facebook page were instrumental in identifying Hutchinson from surveillance at the stores where she used the debit card.
