A Binghamton woman is facing drug charges after police executed a search of her home. 29-year-old Susan Smith was charged on Wednesday after police searched her residence on Evans Street in Binghamton and uncovered 20 envelopes of heroin and marijuana, along with over $7,000 in cash. Smith is being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail. The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force made the arrest, with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
