A Binghamton woman is in the custody of troopers from Sylvan Beach for the unauthorized use of a vehicle after she was stopped by police in Endwell. 24-year-old Courtney Mead was being sought by the Sylvan Beach troopers, a community on the east end of Oneida Lake. She was spotted by troopers on East Main Street in Endwell and they found her to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe and metal spoon used for cooking heroin. She is now facing misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a hypodermic syringe and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. She was then taken into custody of the troopers from Sylvan Beach for the separate charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
