A man from The Bronx has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Binghamton on Friday. 51-year-old Wilfredo Hernandez was charged Monday with both attempted second-degree murder and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is being held for arraignment in Binghamton City Court. Hernandez is accused of stabbing 30-year-old Kendu Johnson of Binghamton in the chest. Johnson was taken to UHS Wilson Medical Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
