The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force was busy late last week. The task force made four drug related arrests in three separate incidents. The task force executed a search warrant on a home on Hawley Street in Binghamton on Friday, which led to the discovery of heroin, marijuana, and a digital scale. Authorities consequently arrested 28-year-old Jermaine Cheeseboro of Binghamton, as well as 24-year-old Amanda Starks of Binghamton. In a separate incident, police also arrested 24-year-old Darrow Moore of Johnson City after executing a search warrant on his residence. Moore was found to be in possession of 10 bags of heroin, cocaine, as well as packaging materials. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminally using drug paraphernalia. Lastly, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force also arrested 22-year-old Okan Thompson of Binghamton. Authorities found Thompson to be in possession of 100 bags of heroin. Thompson also allegedly tried to flee from officers. He has since been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as Attempted escape.
