The roundabout in downtown Binghamton was closed to traffic for a few hours yesterday after a tractor trailer lost some of the cargo it was carrying. The tractor trailer had difficulty negotiating the roundabout and some construction material had fallen off the back. The vehicle was heading north for a bridge construction project. Binghamton Police were on hand as crews worked to load the material back on the trailer. Around 1:40 yesterday the roundabout had reopened to traffic.
