A statue of Christopher Columbus in downtown Binghamton was vandalized over the weekend. The word “murderer” was painted in red spray paint. The statue is outside the Supreme Court Building in Binghamton.The clean up process is already underway and Binghamton police say the incident is under investigation.Another Columbus statue was also vandalized in Buffalo last month.
