Two historic downtown Binghamton buildings are being renovated into student housing for Binghamton University students. The old Press building at 19 Chenango Street and the Kilmer building at 21 Chenango Street will be joined together in renovation to form what will be called the Printing House apartment complex. The two buildings have a conjoined basement, that will ultimately be renovated to feature hot tubs, tanning beds, and a theater. The complex will also feature numerous game and media rooms. The renovations are expected to be completed in January of 2016.
