Five people were arrested in connection to a home invasion and burglary in the town of Union. It happened just after 4 a.m. Monday on Laurelton Drive. The following people were charged with burglary in the first degree:
Tyrone Lowney of Binghamton, Edward Long of Binghamton, Roger Griffen of Binghamton, Davon Wilkerson of Johnson City, and Kaimesha Delany of Harpursville.
According to state police, the five suspects went into a home to confront a man. Once inside, Wilkerson threatened the occupants with a handgun. Lowney, Long, and Griffen were taken into custody at the scene. Wilkerson and Delany fled the scene, but were later arrested by troopers. A search warrant executed at Wilkerson’s home in Binghamton turned up a quantity of drugs, but no gun was found. All of the suspects were taken to the Broome County Jail with no bail set.
