The first of three men involved in a heroin bust on Clinton Street in Binghamton last March has been sentenced. 59-year-old Tyrone Thompson was sentenced to 5 years in state prison and 3 years of parole according to the Broome DA’s office. Two other men will soon be sentenced as a result of convictions from this bust, which hauled in $100,000 worth of heroin off the streets.
