A man who allegedly held a Binghamton liquor store at gunpoint was hit with a stun gun Tuesday night and taken into custody. According to dispatch reports, shortly after nine o’clock Tuesday night a man walked into the Leroy Package Store at 64 Leroy Street, flashed a gun, and was able to make off with an unknown amount of cash. After he fled the scene, police were able to stop him in a car about half a mile from the scene at Main and Chestnut Streets. Binghamton Police officers told dispatchers that they used a taser to apprehend the man. His name and condition are unknown at this time.
