A Broome County judge will be determining the fate of a Binghamton woman accused of vehicular manslaughter after a car crash over two years ago. 25-year-old Jaclyn Wesley has been on trial in county court after a triple-fatal crash in May of 2011 in which she was driving and her three passengers were killed. The passengers were 25-year-old Robert Moorehead III of Port Crane, and 45-year-old Robert Marshall and 39-year-old Carri Michalski, both of Binghamton. The group left the Fireside Inn in Port Crane on the night of the accident and two miles later crashed on Interstate 88. Prosecutors say Wesley had a blood-alcohol content of .13 percent at the time of the crash. After three days of testimony in county court, Judge Joseph Cawley is expected to have a verdict by September 24th. Wesley was indicted in December of last year on three counts of vehicular manslaughter and two counts of driving while intoxicated.
