The investigation into the fire that destroyed the old Lincoln Hotel last week is now an arson investigation. The call went out Thursday for a fire on Clinton Street, where crews battled flames at the old Lincoln Hotel for two hours. Now the fire is believed to have been intentionally set. Binghamton police said the investigation is now in their hands. The building was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported.
