Across the country people found a way to give back Saturday for National Make a Difference Day. At Vestal High School, students in the Peace Club worked with elementary students to paint pumpkins. The masterpieces will be given to residents at the Willow Point Nursing Home. The students also learned about peace initiatives and sing songs. The Peace Club Advisor says the event impacted everyone involved. Other Make a Difference Day events were held across the region, including the Front Street Dog Shelter in Binghamton and the Vestal Library.
