A man was left in critical condition after an assault in Binghamton yesterday. Police say 41-year-old Kenneth Richardson was picked up and slammed to the sidewalk in front of 62 Conklin Avenue just after 8:30am yesterday. He was found unconscious and transported to the hospital for treatment. After talking to witnesses, detectives determined that the man was attacked by 22-year-old Eric Mathis and that the two acquaintances were together before the altercation. Police are still investigating and are asking anyone with information to call their confidential tip line at 607-772-7080.
