Authorities say a man had to be tased during a pursuit that spanned both the city of Binghamton and the town of Fenton. According to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to pull over a 27-year-old man early Saturday on Henry Street in Binghamton for a traffic violation. Deputies say he fail to stop, and led police on a chase through Binghamton before stopping on Nowlan Road in the town of Fenton.Deputies say he fled on foot before being tased. Police say the man had individually wrapped bags of marijuana in his vehicle.He is charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, resisting arrest and other traffic violations. He was arraigned at the sheriff’s office and sent to the Broom County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
