Binghamton Police are currently searching for three suspects in connection to a pair of burglaries that reportedly took place Wednesday morning on Matthews Street and Jutland Road. Police initially responded to a call around 5 o’clock Wednesday morning for a burglary in progress at a home on Matthews Street. The caller said that he had been woken by three people entering his bedroom with a crow bar and baseball bat. About 20 minutes later, suspects with matching descriptions were reported walking through backyards on Kendall Avenue, and by six o’clock another burglary was reported on Jutland Road. In each case the suspects were believed to have entered through unlocked doors, so police are reminding residents to lock their doors at night. The investigation into the burglaries is ongoing and anyone with more information should call the Binghamton Police at 772-7080.
