The Greater Binghamton Chamber has put forth their support of Broome County’s new Office of Energy Development.
Broome County Executive Debbie Preston recently formed the office to help provide guidance on the development and expansion of alternative, renewable, and traditional energy sources. The office will also take part in providing education and resources to local businesses and residents on how to save money on energy.
The Binghamton Chamber is sponsoring the first energy efficiency seminar, which is free and open to businesses, non-profit agencies, and owners of multi-family dwellings. This first seminar will be limited to 60 people and is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, February 12th at the Riverwalk Hotel. Those interested are able to register for the event online at renew Broome County dot org.
