On Saturday, the New York state Police and the Vestal Police department made a traffic stop on Murray Street in Binghamton for vehicle and traffic law violations. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 2 pounds of marijuana. Further investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant on an Oak Street residence in Binghamton. Police then found about 103 pounds of commercial grade marijuana with a street value of about $400,000. They also found 60 commercially packaged boxes of Ghost brand concentrated cannabis vapor cartridges, and 224 canisters of medical grade flavored marijuana, State Police arrested and charged 22-year-old Naami Islam and 21-year-old Melissa F. Pincus, both of Binghamton, with 3 felony drug charges. Both were arraigned in the City of Binghamton Court and were remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
