No arrests have been made following a bank robbery Saturday at Citizens Bank, West Side branch at 247 Main Street in Binghamton. According to a press release, a lone male entered the bank through the front door, approached a teller window and produced a note which demanded cash. The bank staff surrendered an undisclosed amount of money to the robber. The suspect then exited the bank through the front door and fled the immediate area by foot, heading westbound on Main Street. No weapon was displayed or threatened and no physical injuries were sustained. The bank was occupied by several bank employees at the time of the robbery incident. Details of the note will not be released at this time in the investigation.
