A U.S. Postal Service worker was trapped inside a mail truck yesterday afternoon after the vehicle overturned. The accident happened around 2:30 on Stevens Road, between Park Avenue and Morgan Road in the town of Binghamton. The female postal worker had to be cut out of the mail truck. The driver was conscious, alert and breathing when she was put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital. Multiple agencies assisted at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
