Several Radio Shack stores in the Southern Tier are among the nearly 1,800 stores the company plans to close by the end of March. Three Radio Shack stores in Broome County will be closing. They are the stores in Vestal and Binghamton. The list of stores to be closed was released yesterday by the company and also includes the ones in Horseheads, Big Flats, Painted Post, among others. The closings are part of Radio Shack’s Chapter Eleven Bankruptcy reorganization plan filed last week.
