A Broome County jury has found 64-year-old Ramadan Abdullah guilty multiple Criminal Possession of a Weapon charges. Abdullah is alleged to have stolen ammunition from Gander Mountain last June and was arrested by Johnson City Police. A subsequent search of a storage locker in the Town of Union uncovered sixteen illegal weapons and 10,000 rounds of ammunition. The jury deliberated for eight hours before deciding on a guilty verdict. Abdullah was represented by former Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan. Abdullah will be sentenced on December 19th. He was remanded to the Broome County jail following the verdict.
