Two of the victims of Friday’s shooting in Binghamton are now charged with assaulting the alleged shooter. 28-year-old Muhammad Wesley and 22-year-old Shamel Hunter were allegedly shot by 20-year-old Fuquan Campbell after a physical altercation inside the Yellow Deli at 121 Susquehanna Street. The district attorney’s office has now charged those two with third-degree assault, saying they initiated the confrontation inside the deli. Campbell is then accused of pulling out a pistol and shooting the two men along with a bystander and himself. No life-threatening injuries were reported. Police are still investigating the incident.
