Binghamton Police are in the process of investigating a report of shots fired early this morning. Just after 12:30, police were called to 2 Tremont Avenue. Authorities have not confirmed at this time whether or not a shooting did, in fact, take place. According to emergency communications, a car drove into a pole during the incident, and police are on the lookout for a white vehicle with front-end damage. A male and female were believed to be inside the car at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
