The Southerntiersmen Chorus is a barbershop chorus and the Binghamton chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the largest all-male singing fraternity in the world. The group will be bringing its talents to Owego when they put on a show to benefit the Tioga County Historical Society. Southerntiersmen member Ed Blaine visited the WEBO Morning Show today to talk a bit about the group, including the fact that the group partakes in competitions, some of which are international. The concert is being held at the Owego Apalachin Middle School auditorium and is a benefit fundraiser for the Tioga County Historical Society. The event is Tuesday, June 17th, starting at 6 PM. Advance tickets can be purchased for $12 at the historical society’s museum, or for $15 at the door the night of the event.
