The man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in Binghamton turned himself in to police yesterday. 25-year-old Juan Lopez-Laboy is accused of stabbing 31-year-old Santos Echevarria to death in the parking lot of Town & Country Apartments early Sunday. Lopez-Laboy was arraigned in city court yesterday on a charge of second-degree murder and remanded to the Broome County Jail. Police say the Puerto Rico native has lived in Binghamton for the last two years. No motive for the stabbing has been released, and police are still investigating.
