Three Charged With Narcotics Possession

Three people were charged on Monday night with narcotics possession after searching a City of Binghamton apartment.
One of them offered a false name, and when his real identity was discovered, police found out that 29-year-old Jamell Fisher was also wanted for a shooting in Connecticut. 30-year-old Natasha Castillo of Williams Street, and 41-year-old Charles Jones of Connecticut were also arrested.
Fisher was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, marijuana, and a digital scale for weighing drugs. Castillo was in possession of illegal prescription drugs, including Percocet. Jones also had crack cocaine and a digital scale. All three were charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with charges for using drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges are also pending against Fisher in connection with the shooting he was allegedly involved in, in Connecticut. They were arraigned in the City of Binghamton Court.
