Two men were arrested in Binghamton after they were spotted pushing a shopping cart full of copper wire and metal. A citizen called 911 after seeing the two men, and police stopped them outside of Ben Weitsman & Son on Brandywine Avenue. 24-year-old Thomas Jackson and 22-year-old Brett Morris, both of Johnson City, have been charged with burglary in the third degree. They are suspected of stealing from the former City of Binghamton Public Works Garage. Both men were arraigned in city court and sent to the Broome County Jail.
