Two people were taken by ambulance to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Binghamton yesterday. Three vehicles were involved in the crash. A van was stopped at the light, driving on State Street toward Court Street. A car rear ended the stopped van, then a third vehicle, a pick-up truck, rear ended the second vehicle. Two people in the middle car, a man and a woman, were seen taken away in an ambulance.
Binghamton Police ticketed a driver. It is unknown at this time which vehicle the driver occupied. Binghamton Fire and Binghamton Police were at the scene.
