Two Binghamton teens are facing burglary and assault charges after breaking into an apartment early Saturday morning and beating the resident inside with a baseball bat. Binghamton Police say 17-year-old Nathaniel Williams and 17-year-old Diamond Criss knocked on the door of 110 Main Street at 2:30am Saturday. When the resident answered, the teens allegedly displayed a handgun and then proceeded to beat the resident with a baseball bat before fleeing once police were called. The teens were taken into custody a short time later, and police recovered ski masks, a bat, and a BB gun from the two. The victim of the attack was treated for minor injuries.
