The New York State Department of Transportation has announced that it is wrapping up phase one of the Prospect Mountain Construction Project on time. Phase one is scheduled to be completed by the end of December. Construction crews hit a major milestone in their progress late last week, after finishing a newly rebuilt State Route 17 westbound on-ramp. Phase two will begin next year and continue through 2019 at a price tag of about $164 Million.
