An elderly woman is recovering after crashing her car into a sign in front of Wilson Medical Center. It happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the woman was attempting to exit a gated parking lot and accidently stepped on the gas instead of the brake, sending the car across the street. She eventually ending up wedged between a concrete wall and the hospital sign. She was rushed to the emergency room and is in stable condition.
