DWI is believed to be the official cause of the accident on Route 17 Westbound Monday afternoon. According to police, an intoxicated tow truck driver, 29-year-old Carl Mosier of Sayre, rear ended a tractor trailer, and then overcorrected. The tow truck, with a sedan on its flatbed, and a camper in tow then went off of the side of the road. Responding crews worked for hours to clear the scene. Mosier has since been ticketed for felony DWI.
