The Chenango County Republican Committee has endorsed Chenango County District Attorney Joseph McBride, who is seeking a seat on the New York State Supreme Court in the Sixth Judicial District.McBride has nearly 35 years of experience in the criminal justice system and has handled more than 1,600 felony cases. The district includes Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Madison, Otsego, Schuyler, Tioga and Tompkins counties. The position was made vacant following the retirement of Judge Kevin Dowd.
