A Town of Dickinson man has been sent to jail after he allegedly burglarized a residence and storage shed to steal property. 31-year-old Gary Bakay is accused of stealing property from a storage shed on North Broad Street in Dickinson on Tuesday. He was arrested by Broome County Sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday after the stolen property was found at his residence. Bakay is now facing felony counts of second-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in the Town of Dickinson Court and sent to the Broome County jail.
