An Endicott woman has been arrested after collecting more than $4,000 in workers compensation benefits after filing a false claim about her injury. 45-year-old Tammi-Lynn Meek was arrested by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division, and they say Meek also provided a false statement as part of her workers compensation claim. She is now facing three felonies including grand larceny, fraudulent practices, and offering a false instrument for filing. Meek was taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Union Court. The New York State Workers Compensation Office assisted with the investigation.
