An Endicott native and Major League Baseball all-star has passed away. Johnny Logan died in a Milwaukee hospital Friday after battling kidney ailments for years. Logan was a four-time all-star shortstop. He played 13 seasons with the then Boston and Milwaukee Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He helped the Milwaukee Braves win the 1957 World Series. In Endicott, Logan’s hometown, a little league field is dedicated in his honor. Johnny Logan was 86.
