Multiple fire crews were dispatched to a single family home yesterday afternoon at 407 West Franklin Street in Endicott around 2:15. It took crews about 20 minutes to get the fire under control. The fire began in the rear of the building and climbed from the first floor all the way to the attic. No one was home when the fire began and the family’s dog ran out the front door when fire fighters entered the house. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
