A gas leak shut down part of Main Street in Endicott Thursday. Endicott Police confirmed that the section of Main Street spanning from Adams Street to Jackson Street had been closed off due to leaking natural gas. NYSEG was able to shut off the main gas line for the area while crews worked on repairing the pipe. The road was reopened after about 45 minutes. Members of the Endicott Fire Department, Endicott Police, NYSEG and the Department of Transportation were all on the scene.
