Grand Jury Indicts Woman In Theft from Employer

A grand jury has indicted the former manager of Comfort Gifts & Engraving on charges of stealing from the business. On Jan. 13, a grand jury in Broome County handed up an indictment against Lynn Orlando of Endicott. Orlando is charged with stealing money and merchandise from Comfort Gifts & Engraving from February 2012 through January 2014. She was working as the store’s manager. She is charged with 3 counts of grand larceny, and identity theft. The case was investigated by members of the Vestal Police Department. Reports are that Orlando stole more than $25,000 worth of goods and money.
