No Injuries in Endicott Apartment Fire

Fire broke out at an apartment building at 1901 Tracy St. in Endicott Sunday morning. The fire started at approximately 9:30 and was contained to a bedroom, where it originated. The apartment suffered smoke damage but only minimal water damage because the fire broke out on the first floor. Endicott, Endwell, Vestal, Union Center, West Corners and several other fire departments assisted at the scene. Three people who lived in the building were displaced, and the Red Cross was called to assist them. According to fire officials, one person suffered burns and lacerations. The fire is currently under investigation.
